Michelle R. Scargle, MD

Psychiatrist

Dr. Scargle is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry. After attending the University Of Miami School Of Medicine, Dr. Scargle completed her Psychiatry internship and residency at Duke University in Durham. She then completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Florida. She has been in private practice since 2006.

She is a member and fellow of the American Psychiatric Association as well as an active member of the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, and Practitioners.

She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD and other mental issues. She has extensive experience in adult psychiatry across a wide range of patients where she works to find the best treatment plan available for each individual’s goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Scargle takes pride in being a patient-centered physician.

Julie Beach Hill LMHC

MHP-Certified Integrative Mental Health Counselor

Julie Beach Hill is licensed by the state of Florida as a mental health counselor and received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. As of September 2017, Julie is a Certified Integrative Mental Health Provider (CIMHP) through the International Association of Trauma Professionals (IATP).

She has worked in private practice since 2007 seeing individuals, couples, families, and groups on issues such as depression, anxiety, acute trauma, couple and family relationships, and interpersonal issues.

She has studied hypnosis, EMDR, and TIR, particularly to assist those dealing with traumatic experiences, anxiety, and depression.

Julie describes her greatest professional hope to be “that I will be able to influence my clients in positive ways and that the quality of their lives will in some way improve due to the time we spend together.”

Bernadette is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse. After graduating with honors from the University of South Florida College of Medicine she went on to gain 35+ years of clinical experience working in private practice and inpatient care. 

Bernadette has experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric pathologies including PTSD, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder as well as a strong history of providing care to veterans and geriatric patients. Her approach to treatment prioritizes patients’ needs through focus on personalized, holistic, and compassionate care.

Bernadette’s primary goal is to make patients feel better, educate them on what is happening, and give them a workable treatment plan to address their issues.

Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Mason Fish is a licensed Psychiatric Physician Assistant who received his graduate degree from the College of Medicine at Florida State University. He has an extensive background working in the pharmacy and volunteering for Hospice and has been providing mental health care in private practice since 2021.

He is dedicated to establishing a deep connection with patients on their unique mental health journey. With his innate ability to listen and empathize, Mason strives to make a positive impact in the lives of patients in need of compassionate and individualized care. He works hand-in-hand with Dr. Scargle, making the duo an asset in understanding mental health concerns and providing patient-centered treatment.

Elizabeth "Liz" Di Martino PMHNP-BC

Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Liz Di Martino is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who received her degree from Walden University. Liz specializes in adult psychiatric and ketamine treatment evaluations as well as medication management. Her background in fitness and holistic medicine lends to a comprehensive model of care.

Liz approaches treatment with compassion and with the hope to enhance mental health outcomes in all patients served.

Andrew Wargo PMHNP-BC

Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Andrew Wargo is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who holds bachelor degrees in both psychology and nursing, and a masters degree in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. He has extensive experience working with adults requiring a wide variety of mental health needs, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Andrew feels that it is his calling in life to help others become the best version of themselves. His philosophy is that patients have the best chance of improvement by establishing a genuine connection with the patient, and by utilizing a patient-collaboration-based treatment approach.

Additionally, Andrew believes in using a holistic model to care, which takes into account how each part of a person’s life plays a role in their mental health. His caring attitude combined with his vast knowledge of the newest and most effective psychiatric treatments, makes Andrew a great practitioner.

In his spare time, he enjoys staying active by playing tennis and kayaking throughout Florida.

Marie Akers DNP, APRN, PPCNP-BC, PMHS

Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Akers is dual board certified as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist and as a Pediatric Primary Care Advanced Practice Nurse. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Florida in 2022, her master’s in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2002 and has completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program at the University of Cincinnati, further expanding her expertise in mental health.

With over 20 years of experience in pediatric neurology, Dr. Akers has developed a profound interest in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and ADHD, areas where she has focused much of her clinical and research efforts. At Concord Health, Dr. Akers plays a crucial role in our new pediatric program, designed to provide comprehensive care for children and young adults with autism and other behavioral and developmental disorders.

Dr. Akers also serves on the Board of Directors as the Membership Chair of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to advancing the field of pediatric nursing.

Jackie Weiser RMHCI

Jackie Weiser is a dedicated mental health therapist. She is a registered intern in the state of Florida (RMHCI). She received her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. With a background in neuroscience, she employs an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the intricate connection between mind and body. Jackie has extensive experience working with neurodivergence, trauma, and psychosomatic symptoms, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each individual. She is committed to a patient-centered approach, ensuring that her clients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. Jackie engages in skills from evidence-based treatment modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and more.

Jackie strives to create a safe and supportive environment for her patients. She hopes to empower patient’s journeys to create lasting change.
